Painted Grail from Shadows Over Camelot
This is a close-up picture of my painted Holy Grail token from Shadows Over Camelot. This was one of the easier paint jobs I’ve done. I painted the grail gold and left the base primer gray. I used a dark metallic wash on the grail to bring out the details, and a flat black wash on the base gray. I was going for a natural stone / marble look, and I was fairly pleased with the results. When that was done I dabbed blue / red paint on the gems, finished the grail with a semi-gloss and the base with a flat finish and it was done!
